Eligibility & Team Formation

  • Teams must have 3–4 members.

  • All members must be current WIT members (membership is free!).

  • Each participant may only join one team.

  • Each team must include at least one female or non-binary member.

  • Cross-disciplinary teams are encouraged.

 

 Project Rules

  • Start from scratch β€” no recycling old projects.

  • Open-source libraries/APIs are allowed but must be credited.

  • Pre-trained models/datasets must be public and disclosed.

  • Code must be public (GitHub, GitLab, etc.).

 

Time & Submission Rules

  • Deadline: Saturday, Aug 30th at 11:59pm.

  • Deliverables: Devpost submission, GitHub repo, demo video.

 

Event Participation

  • Opening Ceremony (Thu 28 Aug, 6–8:30pm) – mandatory for at least one member per team

  • Hub Days (Fri 29 Aug & Sat 30 Aug) – optional but recommended for mentorship & workshops

  • Closing Ceremony (Sun 31 Aug, 2:30pm) – mandatory for finalists

     

Conduct & Ethics

  • Respect the WIT Code of Conduct.
  • Plagiarism/misrepresentation = disqualification.
  • AI-generated work must be disclosed and used responsibly.
